The Schubert Club, Minnesota’s oldest arts organization based at Landmark Center in downtown St Paul, invites applications for the position of Composer-in-Residence for a two-year term beginning September 1, 2017. The role of the composer will be to create music, to participate in education and community programs, and to advise and advocate on behalf of Schubert Club. The specific content of the Composer-in-Residence role will depend on the composer and their interests and strengths. The composer has the opportunity to outline in their proposal how they would shape the residency activities to fit their particular strengths and interests.

Composers applying for the position must be a resident of Minnesota and have a Minnesota address at the time of application. The selected composer must remain a resident of Minnesota for the duration of the residency.
