The Walden School teaches a comprehensive music curriculum that provides students the tools and guidance they need to express themselves successfully through music. In addition to daily chorus, musicianship, improvisation and composition, this unique camp features a host of engaging specialty courses, such as electronic music, music history, jazz, dramatic music, and more.
Concerts, Composers Forums, artist residencies, hikes, dances, and daily recreation activities round out the program. A palpable sense of community permeates the experience, providing just the right mix of challenge, support, and fun.

2017 Tuition, Room & Board, and Financial Aid
The cost of tuition, room and board for the session is $7,900. This covers all meals, housing, instruction, concerts, coachings and lessons, supervision, laundry, and recreation fees. This amount does not include transportation to and from The Walden School. More than half of the students receive some form of need-based financial aid, with award amounts ranging from 10-80%. The Walden School is committed to making this special experience affordable and possible for deserving students.
*To be considered in this Second Round of admissions, applications must be postmarked by Tuesday, February 21; Final Round: Monday, April 3.
