I'm Arianna Tieghi, an italian young clarinetist. My teacher is M° Guido
Arbonelli (http://www.arbonelliclar.it/). I received a degree in clarinet
from the Conservatory of Music of Adria (Rovigo, Italy) in 2011.

I love all kinds of music from 'classical' to contemporary and I'm
comfortable in chamber music: solo clarinet, clarinet and piano, clarinet
quartet, clarinet with string quartet, wind ensemble with or without piano,
etc

I'm writing because I'm starting a new project with my teacher: I'd like to
find and collect one piece for solo clarinet from each of the 50 United
States. For next summer, my teacher Arbonelli's organizing '2012
International Arts Educators Forum', a master class with clarinet and other
instruments and an American teacher and composer.

During this 'forum', he'd like to organize a recital for solo clarinet (I'm
playing) with all of these compositions. I'm playing and explaining this
work (each piece and my work in searching). Then we can search for someone
to publish this collection of pieces.

This is a very ambitious and difficult project, but also very interesting.
Would you like to help and collaborate with us? Have you got a piece for
solo clarinet? Can you send it to me via email? Also, please let me know
which State you are from.
