Butler County Symphony Orchestra, seeks scores from composers of an original 10 minute orchestral composition on the theme of Space Exploration. Label the cover with your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number. 2. Recording if available. 3. A program note concerning the piece. 4.A check for twenty-five dollars.
Eligibility: 1. Applicants must be U.S. resident. 2. Only one work per composer will be considered. 3. Preference will be given to unperformed works. 4. Not eligible are concertos, choral works, and works with electronic elements.
Selection: The 10 minute piece will be selected by a committee of BCSO members and will be announced by February 15,2011
