Diapason—Open Call for Residencies, Curators, & Programming

Diapason is initiating an open call for the following: residencies, curatorial, and programming. Diapason consists of two rooms: the "gallery" contains a powerful 8 channel sound system with a subwoofer and is designed for focused listening. The floor is carpeted and there are pillows available as well as some seating (cushioned benches, folding chairs). The "lounge" contains a 12 channel sound system (without subwoofer), as well as a 4 channel PA system and a Steinway Model "O" grand piano. It is set up in an informal way, with benches, chairs, carpets, etc. ranged around the space.

Accessible Contemporary Music—Weekly Readings

Scores sought for Weekly Readings project. ACM is seeking scores for its ongoing Weekly Readings program, in which a piece of music by a living composer every week (starting the first week of November this year) until the end of our season is read and recorded. ACM is especially interested in receiving music from composers in the early stages of their careers or without available resources for hearing their music played by professional musicians. We seek to place the cleared music of our artists in various film and broadcast productions.

We offer a non-exclusive publishing arrangement with a 50/50 split of revenue. We re-title the artist's original works and market the artist's works under the unique title only.

All music and recordings must be clear of any and all claims of ownership aside from the composer (owner) - the composer (owner) must own all rights including master recordings.
